Folding canopy maker since 2002
Joo East Sdn Bhd is a Malaysian folding canopy manufacturer. We make canopies that are easy to carry, quick to set up and built to last, for traders, events and businesses.
It started with shade for traders
Joo East was founded by Mr Tan Tee Joo. Back then, portable folding canopies were still rare in Malaysia. He wanted traders to have shade that was easy to set up, neat and clean.
In 2005, Joo East proposed uniform folding canopies for the night market in Kuantan to the Kuantan Municipal Council (Majlis Perbandaran Kuantan). Today, our canopies are used at night markets, bazaars, events and roadshows, and we have 11 locations in the Klang Valley and Kuantan.
